How to Process a Refund

Important: Only use the refund option for transactions that were not run on the same day. For same-day transactions, use the Void option instead.

1. Select the card type: CREDIT.

2. Select 3. RETURN.

3. Enter the refund amount using the pin pad.

4. Press the Green button.

5. Insert, Tap, or Swipe the card.

How to Void a Transaction

Note: A void is used to prevent a sale from settling. Use this in place of a refund if the terminal has not yet batched out for the day.

1. Select the card type: CREDIT or DEBIT.

2. Press the Down Arrow once, then select 1. V/SALE.

3. Enter the transaction number, then press the Green button to proceed.

4. The transaction details will be displayed. Press the Green button again to confirm and proceed.
