Phase 1: Accessing the Boot Menu

1. Unplug the terminal's power cable, then plug it back in to restart the device completely.

2. While the terminal powers on and boots, press and hold the FUNC (Function) button until the system options menu appears on the screen. 

3. Press the menu button.

    

Phase 2: Initiating the Download

1. From the main options menu, select 4. Remote Download.

   

2. On the following screen, select New Download.

   

3. Choose 1. TCP as your communication and download method.

   

Phase 3: Entering Configuration Details

1. When prompted for the Remote IP Address, enter exactly: 003.130.109.202

   

   • (Note: To type a decimal point on the keypad, press the 1 key, then immediately press the Alpha button 5 times).

2. When prompted for the Port number, enter 8582 and confirm.

   

3. When the screen asks if you want to use DHCP, select Yes.

   

4. When prompted for the Terminal ID, enter 30030098 and confirm. 

   

5. The terminal will now connect to the network and begin downloading the new configuration. Do not unplug the terminal while the download is in progress.
